Courses, Demos & Talks

For my current course list, please see the upcoming events list on the right. In addition to these courses, I offer bespoke courses on many different topics including:

  • Equine behaviour

  • Wild equine behaviour

  • Equine body language

  • Welfare

  • Learning theory

  • Positive reinforcement and clicker training

  • Ethical horse training and management

  • Confidence building

  • Understanding your horse's behaviour

  • Rider/handler personal development

These days can be just theory days or just practical days or a mix of the two. I can provide evening talks or demos, courses ranging from a half day to 3 days or lectures to fit in with your academic timetable. Topics can also be taught through online group mentorship programmes. Groups can be small or large depending on the facilities available.

I provide courses locally to me and am also happy to travel and provide courses or lectures on a specific subject at your yard, event, conference, college or university.

I am happy to tailor a day to your needs so please contact me to discuss organising a bespoke event.

Bookings include talking at networking and CPD evenings, yard group bookings, conferences, subject specific lectures as part of larger training courses on equine subjects, personal development workshops and horsemanship and equine behaviour theory/practical courses.

Feedback from previous course participants:

“Jenny has a friendly and easy calm way of imparting knowledge to the group.”

“An excellent, informative and supportive day. Both scientific and practical.”

"Brilliant workshop with Jenny yesterday. So much learning in a warm welcoming environment. Fun, laughs (especially liked the positive sweet reinforcement!) and great group discussions with like minded people. Jenny manages to deliver some serious science and knowledge whilst making it fun and inclusive. Would recommend to anyone wanting to understand the horse better and be the best horse carer they can."

“Very friendly and informative day. Thoroughly worth doing for all riders of all levels”

“I enjoyed your training style, impressed with your calm, easy, clear way”
